Thanks for visiting!

About DigiDragon

Hi there! It's me DigiDragon, I'm a trans masc autistic artist and streamer from the United Kingdom. I've been drawing since I was young and now want to share my work with everyone! I draw a lot of dragons and furries, and occasionally dip into fanart. I have been looking to expand my skills by also dabbling in some animation and rigging facerig models too!

I also stream both games and my drawing on Twitch, at the moment I've been playing Dungeon Siege and Valheim, but I have plans to do waaay more as I grow on the platform such as Dragon Age, Okami, and maybe some Apex Legends if my internet allows it!

I have a lot of plans right now, such as streaming more on Twitch and opening up commissions for artwork and Live2D models, which should appear as part of this carrd in the future! Right now I'm working on making things for my Twitch channel such as emotes and my VTuber model.

Thank you to anyone who chooses to support me via Twitch and Kofi it means the world to me and helps me pay rent and continue to create!

(Terms of Service)

Easiest way to contact me is via Twitter

Live2D is an animation program used for rigging 2D avatars and models for import into programs like FaceRig. All models will have full facial rigging for blinking, speaking, head turning, and breathing, and be FaceRig ready.
Important: Make sure you have the Live2D FaceRig DLC installed as part of your program, otherwise your Live2D rig will not work! Models also work with VTube Studio and PrPrLive (though please note all the parameters are set to work primarily with FaceRig and complex mouths are only usable with FaceRigs' talk with microphone option, please consider the program you are using).

Please note: The models I draw are symmetrical in nature because it allows me to draw them proportionally and makes the rigging easier. However elements can be non-symmetrical if your character has those specific features (such as hair over part of the face for example). So please keep this in mind.
Also, while Live2D models can be used in Animaze, my models are more designed for use in FaceRig as the configurations are slightly different.

My Process
I design and rig primarily anthro avatars (but I will draw human avatars too) from the waist up, or from just below the chest, and they are designed primarily for use on Twitch. Here are some examples:

In order from left to right: my personal avatar; avatar for TheCommunalLootbox on Twitch; avatar for RhiStomps on Twitch; avatar for ZenimuzTail on Twitter.

If you want to see them in action, head over to here
Creating an anthro character presents it's unique challenges, especially with the mouth so I have two methods of creating snouts and mouths (note that human mouths do not have this problem).

Simple method: This methods involves creating a three piece mouth consisting of the nose/mouth top, a lower lip piece, and an inner mouth piece, that will open and close in a simple up and down motion. The inside of the mouth is a static piece (teeth and tongue are optional), it doesn't always translate well at different angles but it's very effective for conveying when the character is talking, however the mouth cannot form shapes. This method is also better for characters who have a singular body colour as a jaw 'line' is not required to separate it from the neck.

Complex Method: This method basically breaks the mouth down into more layers to allow for the mouth to make forms and shapes in order to imitate words. It adds a little more 'realism' to the mouth. Notice in this method that the snout has a nose bridge as well as jaw lines as it makes the snout a little more dynamic and 3D, but this depends on the model. This method is more difficult and takes more time to create, and also can be restricting to the head turns, but simulates 'talking' more effectively. This method is very effective if you use your model with FaceRigs' speak with microphone function, but other programs may not have this.

What I Can Do
I can both draw and rig the model for you or rig a model from a drawing from another artist, but if you are bringing an art piece you already have then expect the process to take longer as I will need to prep the drawing in order to rig it.
I can also add in basics physics for your model which can include wing waggling, ear waggling, or fluff movement when the head moves, but there may be limitations. Example of this can be shown upon request.

Prices
Drawing and rigging one model: Base £50/~$69

Rigging one model: Base £25/~$35

Live 2D Model Terms of Service

Q: What should I have in advance?
A: Gather together any pictures or references of your character you have, including clothing, props, etc, as they will really help me! Expect a higher price if you want a character made from scratch.
Important: Make sure you have the Live2D FaceRig DLC installed as part of your program, otherwise your Live2D rig will not work!

Q: How long will it take?
A: Please allow for 1-2 weeks per model, as while the drawing process may not take too long, the rigging absolutely will depending on the complexity of your avatar. Bear this in mind if you are going to need the rig for something.

Q: How/when will I pay?
A: I will request half the agreed price once I've completed a sketch of your character and the other half will then be paid once I've completed the entire rig. You can pay me via Kofi or Paypal.

Q: Do I get updates?
A: Yes! I will give you updates when I've completed key parts of the process, namely when I complete lineart, when I complete the full drawing, and when I've made progress on rigging.

Q: What will I receive at the end?
A: You will receive a folder that you can place directly into the relevant FaceRig folder which will have the finished model inside. You won't need to mess with anything inside the folder. You will also receive the photoshop file containing all the layers so you can use Live2D yourself if you wish to, as well as a png of the file.

I reserve the right to work on your commission during streams and to put the finished commission on my various social medias, unless explicitly agreed not to.

Specifications for Artists drawing a charcter I'm going to Rig

  • Canvas size needs to be 5000x5000 pixels, have a resolution of 600dpi, and have a transparent background. The file also needs to be converted to a Clip Studio Paint file if possible so I can check it, but if that isn't possible, the file MUST be a photoshop file so I can import it into Live2D.

  • Character should sit as centrally in the canvas as possible with only the chest and arms of the characters being cut off at the bottom.

  • If you are drawing a layered character, each layer should contain a separate component of the character, especially each individual part of the eye, which must have the whites, iris, top eyeline, and bottom eyeline all on separate layers:

  • The amount of layers should NOT exceed 30 total layers as otherwise I won't be able to use it in Live2D AT ALL

  • The layers need to be properly ordered and named so they can easily be identified within Live2D while I'm rigging.

If there are any queries made by the artist about this process ask them to contact me directly so I can discuss exactly what I need from them and what they can provide. If the artist is unable to provide a layered character, then I can take a character drawn in one layer and separate them manually, but don't expect a miracle if the character is more complex.

The easiest way to contact me is via Twitter or you can send me an email at [email protected].

Q: How long will it take?
A: Anywhere from 1-8 weeks depending on how well streaming for a week goes and whether I have other plans I need to stick to. Bear this in mind if you want the piece for something like a birthday or an event. Also note that things like emotes will not take as long as a full-body drawing.

Q: How/when will I pay?
A: I will request half the agreed price once I've completed a sketch and the other half will then be paid once I've completed the commission. You can pay me via Kofi or Paypal.

Q: Do I get updates?
A: Yes! I will give you updates over a period of time whenever I feel I've made more progress. I do my best with communication but don't be afraid to poke me if you haven't heard anything for a long period of time.
